You can rent, take or return cars that are rented by “KLAIPĖDA CARS” at Turgaus g.2, Klaipėda, where the office of our company is established.
For Your convenience, “KLAIPĖDA CARS” will deliver the car within the limits of Klaipėda city to the location of Your choice free of charge. For additional fee we can also deliver cars to a location of Your choice in any Baltic country, as well as to the airports of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and international cruise ship ports. In such cases, when client is unable to return car by himself, “KLAIPĖDA CARS” provides a service or car recovery from the last point of client’s destination for an additional fee.

It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside cars of “KLAIPĖDA CARS”. If the lessee returns a car with a strong odour of tobacco, a fine of 60 EUR is imposed.
Person, who rents a car from “KLAIPĖDA CARS” assumes full responsibility for the property that is entrusted to him under the rent agreement.
Lessee assumes full responsibility for violations and/or disregard of traffic and passenger transportation rules, as well as parking and entry fees, during the rent.
If a car breaks down, the lessee must immediately notify the Lessor.
By signing the agreement, the lessee confirms that he received the car in proper and good technical condition with all additional accessories, including car documents. Lessee must return the car in such technical condition and completeness in which it was rented. The car is picked up and returned at the time agreed in the agreement.
AUTOACIDENT INSURANCE CONDITION – liability of the lessee is 500 EUR.
THEFT INSURANCE CONDITION – liability of the lessee is 10% of the car value.
All damage that is done and not covered by the insurance, are fully compensated by the lessee.
If the damage is identified, after its assessment the deposit is not returned, or only a part of it is returned. If it is impossible to assess the damage right away, then the damage is assessed within 3 to 5 working days.

“KLAIPĖDA CARS” rents additional accessories: child seats, navigation equipment, bicycle carriers, and top cargo carriers.

All cars are insured with a mandatory vehicle operation civil liability and KASKO insurance.
“KLAIPĖDA CARS” has a possibility to offer an additional insurance to the lessee, it ensures zero liability in any case of accident or theft.

Person, who wants to rent a car from “KLAIPĖDA CARS” must present a valid driver’s license, passport or ID card.
If there is additional driver(s), copies of driver licenses and personal ID verification documents of persons, who will also be driving the car, must be submitted as well.
Usually the aforementioned documents are enough to rent a car. Only in exceptional cases it may be needed to provide additional documents.

Reservation can be cancelled free of charge 3 days till the beginning of the rent period.
If you want to cancel car reservation submitted on the web page of “KLAIPĖDA CARS” (www.klaipedacars.com), then you must notify about the cancellation via email specifying the listed reservation number.

the cancellation is free 3 or more days before the beginning of the reserved time;
if the reservation is cancelled less than 48 hours till the reserved time, 15 EUR are charged from the advance payment;
if the reservation is cancelled less than 2 hours till the reserved rent time, reservation fee is not returned;

Cars of “KLAIPĖDA CARS” can be rented for short trips or for a long period. Rent by the hour is not provided. If the car is rented for a few hours, a daily rate applies. A period of a long term rent is also not strict, you can rent a car for a month or half a year.
Period of “KLAIPĖDA CARS” car rent can be extended by notifying employees of “KLAIPĖDA CARS” about that and agreeing on the extension time via the phone or email.
Cars of “KLAIPĖDA CARS” are technically in order and have all required insurances that are required for travelling not only in Lithuania, but in the countries of the European Union as well.
In a rented car you can travel to other Baltic countries and to the Kaliningrad enclave.
