Clients who are interested in renting a car from “KLAIPĖDA CARS”, have no questions about rental price that is calculated on a daily basis. This fee is charged regardless of the number of hours for which the client will require a car, whether it is 2 or say 8, you will pay daily rate in any case and you are allowed to return the car on the next day.
However, in order to rent a car, besides the rent fee, you must also pay in advance a deposit.
Deposit is taken as a guarantee that the transaction will be performed and the car will be returned.
Size of a deposit usually is fixed – 250 EUR.
“KLAIPĖDA CARS” deposit is paid according to the set terms, during the moment when the car rent agreement is concluded. However, at the request of the client and for the purposes of convenience, it can be paid in cash, by money transfer, or freeze in the credit card.
As soon as the car is returned, the deposit is returned immediately, in cash or after restoring the frozen funds in Your credit card.
If you extend rent duration, exceed mileage that is set for rent duration, have no possibility to top up the gas tank till the end of the rent period, returned the car after smoking in passenger compartment, occurred some unexpected event, or damaged the car, the calculated losses may be deducted from the deposit.
Advance payment for car reservation is not a deposit. Client undertakes to make the advance payment, which is 30% of the whole amount for the rent period, to “KLAIPĖDA CARS” in advance, in order to guarantee the need of a car, and that “KLAIPĖDA CARS” was be able to reserve it for the desired period.
In the exceptional cases “KLAIPĖDA CARS” reserves the right to change conditions of the agreement with respect to the size of the deposit, when car is rented to companies, for a long period or in other cases.
